As the sun sets, the lights come on! The annual Berthoud Parade of Lights begins at 5:00 PM, transforming downtown into a glowing winter wonderland. Watch as illuminated floats, twinkling displays, and festive music light up the night sky, creating a truly unforgettable holiday experience for all ages.

This year’s celebration brings even more magic, sparkle, and small-town charm with A Very Merry Berthoud, followed by the beloved Berthoud Parade of Lights.
From morning to evening, downtown Berthoud will be alive with festive fun for the whole family. Start your day by getting creative with craft and cookie making, or drop off your wish list at one of the letters-to-Santa mailboxes scattered throughout downtown. Stroll along Mountain Avenue and watch blacksmithing demonstrations that bring a touch of old-fashioned holiday charm, then stop by to take photos with Santa himself for the perfect keepsake.
Throughout the day, local shops will be open for downtown holiday shopping, offering gift wrapping and special deals to make your experience merry and bright. Whether you’re sipping hot cocoa, browsing handmade goods, or simply enjoying the glow of the season, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during A Very Merry Berthoud.
